In unit 3, I
gave my personal assessment a score of 6 out of 10. If I were to
rate myself now I would give myself a 7. I know that I have to take
things one day at a time so I know that there is a lot more room for
improvement. The goals that I set for myself are a work in progress.
Because I work full
time, attend classes, and have parental responsibilities as a single parent, my
goals, I am not always able to follow on a regular basis as I would like too.
I have implemented my
goals but I just haven’t been consistent with achieving my goals.
My personal
experience throughout this course was a well educated experience that I wish I
had the opportunity of learning at an earlier age. Although I am older now, I
do realize that it is never too late to start exercising and practicing an
integral health and wellness way of living. What I have
learned is that we must search within our inner self to find happiness,
compassion, kindness and the beautiful. When we find these things we
should not only experience them for the moment but for a life time. Human
flourishing is important in our life time. When you are able to
understand suffering such as dissatisfaction, discontent and unhappiness and
remove all of that from your life then you can began to experience the
inequalities of human life. As far as
difficulties with this course, I would say that there really wasn’t anything I
found to be difficult. I found
everything to be an interesting experience that took time and dedication while being practiced. With continued practice I will be able to share my experiences and assist others towards
flourishing and living healthier for their own well being.
I hope everyone who took a part in this course has enjoyed this course as much as I did.
